Eye of the Heron



I took this picture in Florida. If you notice this bird has green around the eye. Is it normal? I'm not quite sure. Anyways its really cool. There are more weird pics to come.

    I believe that is a snowy egret in breeding plumage. I think they get that green eye stripe just during breeding season.
